Summary
Dictatorship began in the post World War I. Hitler became the dictator of Germany and was trying to conquer Europe. Winston Churchill believed in the appeasement prevent war with Hitler. Americans believed in the isolationism so which was to not be involved in foreign wars. The United States was mobilizing for war by passing the Lend-Lease Act that allowed weapons to be sent to our allay which was Great Britain. On December 7, 1941 the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor the whole pacific fleet was destroyed. The next day President Roosevelt asked Congress to declare war on Japan. Three days later Germany and Italy declared war on United States. The attack began on June 6, 1944, called D-Day is was to take back Paris from Germany.
